Destinations
Each link goes to one of these.
| Type | What happens |
|---|---|
| Feature | Opens an app screen, such as Alerts or Reports. The list only shows screens that exist in the module you picked. |
| Path | Opens a route inside the app, for example /reports. Must start with /. |
| Custom → Redirect to URL | Opens a web page. Only http and https addresses. |
| Custom → other types | Types defined in admin with their own fields. |
Features
- Each module has its own screens, so the list changes with Opens on. AquaGen has the most.
- For AquaGen, the list marks which screens the mobile app also has.
- The app checks the person's permissions first. If they cannot open a screen, they land on the app's home page.
- Energy Monitoring and Energy Alerts are AquaGen screens too.
Extra params
Params saved on the link (for example range = week) are added to the screen as ?range=week. Dynamic params let each share change them (see URLs and data).
Paths
A path that would leave the app (for example starting with //) is ignored and opens home. A path that does not exist in the app shows the app's not-found page.
Redirect to URL
| Setting | Behaviour |
|---|---|
| In-app browser | Stays inside the app. On the website it opens in the same tab. |
| External browser | Leaves the app. A new tab on the website, the phone's browser in the app. |
The mobile app
- Works in the mobile app: off (default). The mobile app opens its home page instead of following the link.
- On. It follows the link. A feature the mobile app does not have still opens home.
- This includes URL links: turn it on if they should open in the app.
